appreciated and consumed daily in Asia for thousands of years, they
become more and more popular in Europe, as they are very valuable for
the nutrition conscious cuisine.
The five different KULAU Organic Dried Seaweed are distinguished by
their different characteristics and flavors. When rehydrated it can enlarge its volume
up to ten times.

Origin and Production
The KULAU Organic Dried Seaweed comes from a small, family-operated
algae manufactory in Spain on the Galician coast. They are carefully
picked by hand, gently air-dried below 40 °C and shipped free of any
additives to Germany. Our partners of sheltered workshops MOSAIK
then fill it into organic paper stand bags, always accounting the highest
quality standards in Germany.
The nutrition facts differ from kind to kind. What they all have in common
is that they are high in fiber and protein, have a low fat content and
are virtually sugar free. They have a very high iodine concentration
for European standards, however. Therefore, the KULAU Organic Dried
Seaweed should be enjoyed in moderation. Per meal no more than 5 g
should be used and a daily dose of iodine of more than 0.2 mg must not

Dried Seaweed is certified to organic and vegan standards. We regularly
control and sample the harvest on site before getting our raw materials
and products screened by an independent laboratory in Germany.
