KULAU Organic Coconut Sugar gives each dish you prepare a natural
sweetness. It is fine melting and has a slight caramel flavour. The coconut
blossom sugar is available in a 150 g and 300 g glass as well as in a 1 kg
solid base pouch.
Production
Coconut sugar is extracted from the nectar of the coconut blossom.
First the viscous juice is collected from the blossom of the coconut
tree. Then the sweet sap is boiled until it turns into a thick syrup. In
the next step the sap is cooked until it crystallizes. During this process
the extraordinary, slight caramel taste develops. Ultimately to get the
familiar fine sugar structure, the cooled mass is grounded afterwards.
